Get Bookweld answering your calls inabout a week.

You booked the walkthrough, or you already take calls with Bookweld. Either way, here's what happens next — what we'll send you, what we'll ask for, and when your line goes live. Plain language, no acronyms, no developer talk.

The five-step walkthrough

From the calculator to your line going live.

  1. 01

Run the missed-call calculator (five minutes).

Open the calculator on the Get started page, put in your real numbers — missed calls per week, average ticket, current pickup rate — and read the recovered revenue on the right. This is the only place we ask you to think about your shop before we talk. If the recovered number looks plausible, leave your details and we will reach out within one business day.

    What we need from you

    • A rough count of missed calls per week (after-hours and weekend counts more)
    • Your average ticket or job value
    • Your current pickup rate during business hours, on weekends, and after hours
  2. 02

    Book a fifteen-minute walkthrough.

A Bookweld owner — not a sales rep — calls you back inside one business day. We walk through how the line answers on your trade (HVAC intake, dental new-patient, real-estate lead), what the caller hears, and what lands on your tech's calendar. No demo theater, no screenshare of a generic dashboard — we ping your real number and you listen in.

    What we need from you

    • Your cell number (we call, you do not call us)
    • A trade to focus on — HVAC, dental, or real estate
    • A rough sense of which after-hours window matters most
  3. 03

Send three short details; Bookweld does the setup.

After the walkthrough, we email a single short form — your current phone carrier, your calendar (Google, ServiceTitan, HouseCall Pro, or another), and the after-hours window you want covered. Most owners spend five minutes on this. Bookweld handles call forwarding, calendar wiring, and the qualifying script for your trade. You do not need an engineer.

    What we need from you

    • Your current phone carrier account login (we add call forwarding, you keep your number)
    • A calendar we can write into (and the login for it)
    • A list of two or three questions you really want answered on every call
  4. 04

Listen to two test calls before we go live.

Before your line flips over, we run two scripted calls — one easy one, one tricky one — and email you the recordings. If the answers sound right, we flip the line. If something sounds off, you tell us which question was wrong and we re-train the script before going live. Two calls is enough; you do not need to QA through fifty.

    What we need from you

    • About ten minutes to listen to two short recordings
    • A thumbs-up or a list of what to change before going live
    • The go-ahead — or a one-line reply telling us to wait
  5. 05

Your line goes live. We watch the first week with you.

We flip your line over and stay on the dashboard with you for the first week. Every call, every booking, every caller who asked for a human shows up in your dashboard; if something reads off, you tell us and we tune the script in the same day. By the end of week one, your after-hours pickup rate is the same as your day-time rate.

    What we need from you

    • Access to your Bookweld dashboard (we email a link after step 04)
    • A two-minute check-in at the end of week one (we schedule it with you)
    • A short list of any caller questions that felt wrong — we re-train, not you
